Railfanning at Dusk on the CSX S&NA North! January 12, 2008

This trip report covers our late afternoon railfanning along the CSX S&NA North Subdivision between Falkville and Hanceville, AL. We only managed a few photos/videos but here is what we got including a neat CSX/Herzog ballast train! It can be a challenge to pull off shots late in the day and some camera setting problems didn't help much.

Railfanning at dusk! The sun is just about to set as we catch north-bound CSX Herzog ballast train south of Falkville, AL. The video is a bit dark and I misspelled Herzog on the intro! HA!
